Number 1: Joel Embiid: 7'0 Kansas
Mark my words when I say that Embiid might be the most promising prospect in the field. His ceiling is Hakeem, and his basement is Roy Hibbert (In my opinion the Best Center in the league by virtue of his team's status). Anyway you look at it, that is very impressive.Number 2: Jabari Parker: 6'8 Duke
You know what I just said about Embiid? That is very similar to Parker, who's basement is The Truth, and Ceiling is Bernard King. No matter what, he's gonna have multiple All-Star appearances.
Number 3: Andrew Wiggins: 6'8 Kansas
My fellow countryman, how it pains me to put you this low. He has a Lebron/Jordan/Kobe Ceiling, and his basement is at least Luol Deng caliber. He is a high Value Pick Everywhere on the board.Number 4: Julius Randle 6'9 Kentucky
Whoever lands Randle will be very lucky. They Get a Larry Johnson-Tim Duncan Ceiling. And a Premier Power Forward Talent Basement. High Motor, Good Defense, and Enough Athleticism to get noticed in HS, He is an Excellent Value at number 4Number 5: Marcus Smart: 6'4 OK State
Marcus Smart looks to be a durable, high quality floor general with high character. I think he's a CP3-Tony Parker type, not the most athletic, yet he remains a dominant player who out powers his opponents.Number 6: Dante Exum: 6'6 Australia
This is no knock on Exum's abilities, but he's 6'6 and skinny and athletic. 6'3 Thick and athletic wasn't enough to keep Rose Healthy. So you're telling me someone with pretty much his skillset, but taller and skinnier is gonna be durable? I didn't think soNumber 7: Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon is the final part of the first half of my list. He's essentially Blake Griffin reborn, Not A bad thing at all. At worst, He's Z-Bo, still excellent, just takes a while to find his strong suite.Okay, Guys Part 2 will be up soon, till then peace I'm out. (Feel Free to comment with your own top 7's this year, and follow my blog) :P
I wish someone besides me had an opinion! ;(
